Job Title: Security Install Engineer
Location: Northern Ireland
Working Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:30am–5:00pm, Friday 8:30am–4:00pm (Flexibility required)
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Security Install Engineer with a strong background in electronic security systems. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the installation, programming, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems at client premises. In some cases, responsibilities may also extend to Fire Alarm systems.
As a key member of our engineering team, you’ll be the face of the company—delivering high-quality service and representing our brand to a wide range of valued clients across Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, program, commission, test, and maintain electronic security systems
* Conduct regular scheduled maintenance visits for installed systems
* Deliver excellent customer service and uphold the company’s reputation
* Carry out site surveys, risk assessments, and report findings
* Complete accurate on-site documentation and daily job call-out reports via PDA
* Occasionally support with Fire Alarm installations and maintenance
* Work within the company’s quality standards, processes, and compliance framework
Required Experience:
* Proven experience in installing and maintaining Intruder, CCTV, and Access Control systems
* Good working knowledge of industry standards and relevant codes of practice
* Strong ability to accurately fault-find and resolve issues
* Experience in commissioning systems in line with customer and industry specifications
Skills & Personal Qualities:
* Technically competent using laptops, measuring tools, smartphones, and related tech
* Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, especially with high-end clients
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
* Full UK driving licence required
