Overview
Provide support to a lady in managing daily tasks including medication reminders, household chores, child‑care tasks such as preparing lunch and PE kit, scheduling appointments, handling correspondence, meal planning and cooking healthy balanced meals for herself and her children, shopping, packing, and possibly assisting with social outings.
Hours
Tuesday and Thursday each week starting around 9am for roughly six hours; every other week the same hours plus some support on a Saturday or Sunday. Remaining hours can be discussed at interview.
Responsibilities
- Assist with household chores and general homemaking.
- Support and/or prompt attendance to appointments such as hospital/doctors.
- Support with food shopping.
- Assist and encourage socialisation and participation in activities.
- Promote and encourage friendships and independence.
- Develop a good and trusting one‑to‑one working relationship.
- Support managing paperwork & correspondence.
- Report all accidents and hazards to the employer immediately.
- Ensure continuous safety of the individual.
- Perform other duties reasonably required.

Transport
Car driver and car owner – must possess business insurance.
Compliance
Due to the nature of the work, a satisfactory DBS disclosure is required (costs covered by employer).
