Pay Rate: To scale (MPS/UPS)
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Bachelors Degree in ICT/ Computing/Computer Science
- Excellent behaviour management skills and classroom presence
- Previous experience teaching ICT in a UK secondary school
- Excellent school-based references
- A genuine passion for digital learning and a strong knowledge of the UK ICT national curriculum
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Plan a range of engaging ICT lessons to Year groups 7-11
- Teach a range of topics across the ICT national curriculum
- Regularly assess pupil's learning and development, tracking their progress accurately
- Provide regular and informative feedback to pupils to help support their learning and development
- Collaborate with colleagues, communicating effectively with fellow teachers
- Communicate effectively with parents' and contribute to parent's evenings and wider school activities
