Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook nutritious, balanced meals in line with dietary requirements and food safety standards. Work closely with care home staff to ensure timely meal service for residents. Manage stock, maintain cleanliness, and comply with HACCP and food hygiene regulations. Follow specific dietary plans, including texture-modified diets and allergen controls. Requirements: Previous experience working as a Chef in a care home or healthcare setting. Knowledge of special dietary requirements (e.g., dysphagia, diabetes). Valid Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above). Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
