We now have an exciting opportunity for Housekeeping assistant - Self Checker to join our Housekeeping Department.
As a Housekeeping assistant - Self Checker, you will be required to master the art of versatility and inject some energy whilst completing a variety of duties. The main duties expected within the role are:
* Ensure that the guest bedroom is well presented and in accordance with Aparthotel Brand, Brand Standard and excellent operating standards as well as Mystery audit standards and to check all other bedrooms cleaned by the housekeeping team also reach this specification.
* Ensure that all items in room are of a high standard – clean, unmarked, no defects and to check all other bedrooms cleaned by the housekeeping team also reach this specification.
* Understand and abide by the standards for cleaning a stay over, departure and turn down. Ensure this is understood throughout the team and report to the Housekeeping Supervisor if training is required.
* To abide by the time allocated for cleaning and preparing guest rooms without compromising standards.
* Auditing vacant guest bedrooms to ensure they are to the expected standard for guest arrival.
* Throughout your shift, when the opportunity is available, to complete floor inspections to ensure corridors are clear of any obstructions, trays and other debris.
* To control all consumables (e.g. guest supplies) ensuring sufficient stock to service the business when required.
