Site Service Engineer (Electrical)

Role & Responsibilities
* Perform inspections on various automated storage systems.
* Carry out annual servicing, routine maintenance, and repairs of units.
* Diagnose and resolve technical faults independently.
* Support system upgrades, including software updates.
* Assist with the commissioning and installation of new systems at client sites.
* Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns.
* Provide technical support and product training to clients.
* Complete and submit service reports/documentation promptly and accurately.
* Manage your own travel and schedule efficiently.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Strong willingness to learn and a hands‑on, proactive approach.
* Experience or qualifications in mechanical, electrical, or general engineering.
* Excellent fault‑finding and technical problem‑solving skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Flexibility for regional and occasional national travel (including overnight stays).
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Professional presentation and a customer‑first attitude.
* High attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
* Experience in storage solutions or materials handling (desirable but not essential).
* Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently.
