We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
* Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
* Support clients in following their care plans and maintaining their personal hygiene.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
* Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge in care practices.
* Foster a warm and supportive environment that promotes dignity and respect for all clients.
Experience
* Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is desirable but not essential.
* Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping and communication is advantageous.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients as needed.
* Ability to communicate fluently in English is essential for effective interaction with clients and team members.
* Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is important for delivering personalised care.
