This is an excellent opportunity to join a global pharmaceuticals organisation in a Site Operations Manager appointment. You will have responsibly for several large pharmaceutical’s contracts ensuring all KPI’s are achieved + be the main point of contact for your customers internal & external, distribution, storage and manage the site Operations and distribution teams.

* Day to day site management of the Pharma / Life Science facility: - Storage and distribution

The key responsibilities: -
* Day to day site management of the warehouse / storage facility and teams
* Deliver services to the portfolio of customers from the life Science / pharma sector
* Ensure that the activities and teams are performed within the quality performance indicators and according to the relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
* Ensure integrity of customer products are maintained at all times.
* The post-holder will be expected to work to quality standards, financial regulations operational deadlines and lead new quality initiatives.
* Manage and oversee resources, including strategies for building and updating fleets, hiring, training, keeping, and meeting customer demand based on set performance goals.
* Act as main point of contact on a national level to develop and exceed customer expectations.
* Sales maximisation – Responsible for continual sales maximisation by means of regular contact with all customers.
* Ensure adherence to safety, legal, and policy standards through audits, operational safety measures, and meeting health and safety goals and performance benchmarks.
* Provide operational solutions that exceed customer expectations based on set performance goals, including managing fleets and drivers at all locations, handling deliveries, optimizing routes between depots, and managing returns throughout the UK, while also offering additional services to meet budget goals.
* Effectively communicate and distribute the strategic plan, which is divided into specific, measurable tasks at the site level, to ensure the team understands their roles in achieving the broader strategy and are motivated to perform their tasks with purpose.
* Facilitate the natural expansion of the business by conducting Supply Chain Mapping analyses and developing Joint Account Plans, and by supporting the design and development of solutions for new business ventures aimed at achieving sustainable growth.
* Showcase strong leadership in people by providing coaching, mentoring, and developing team members.
* Customer Service – Responsible for the delivery of a high standard of Customer Service against agreed targets.
Person Specification: -
· Previous experience of working within a supply chain logistics environment
· Previous experience of FMCG multi customer operation
