Site Engineering Geologist — Permanent Role — £32,000 / year + benefits — Office based in Glasgow, covering sites across Scotland
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage small to medium geotechnical site investigation projects – primarily field-based work.
* Ensure technical, commercial, and HSEQ compliance per company practices.
* Execute site walkovers, logistics planning, and delivery according to briefing and project plan.
* Record soil/rock samples (boreholes, trial pits), carry out field testing, water/gas monitoring, and surveying.
* Manage site teams and resources, preparing progress and technical reports.
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree in Earth Science, Geology, Civil Engineering, or related field.
* 3 years’ experience minimum on ground investigation projects.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Proficient with MS Office.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Training and mentoring provided based on experience level.
