Job Overview
We are excited to advertise the position of Assistant People Analyst, a fully funded 21-month Digital Skills apprenticeship at NWSSP.
The Apprentice - Assistant People Analyst will join the NWSSP People and Organisational Development team to support our information systems, data, and people analytics, combining study and work in this new role.
Main Duties
1. Support the development of the service, helping to shape the vision of becoming a one-stop shop for all people insight and analytics.
2. Collaborate with colleagues using workforce data to support performance, analytics, business intelligence, and workforce planning.
3. Provide information, guidance, and support on ESR and its functionality.
4. Assist the Workforce Intelligence Team in maintaining data quality on ESR, including regular data cleansing.
5. Support specific Workforce Information/ESR projects within NWSSP.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Essential: Educated to A Level or equivalent experience.
* Desirable: Strong interest in information management and data analysis.
Experience
* Essential: Experience working with Workforce Information Systems.
* Desirable: Experience with Microsoft 365 Power BI and Flow Automate.
Skills & Attributes
* Able to work with databases and produce reports.
* Proficient in software packages, especially Excel (including VLOOKUP and PivotTables).
* Report writing skills are desirable.
