JOB ROLE
AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. The successful applicant will work alongside our existing third-party delivery agency to start to build the in-house experience and capability to develop and grow the commerce platform
2. Work through technical story implementation
3. Support and optimisation of existing functionality
4. Resolve production issues
5. Discovery and implementation through proof of concepts for new features
6. Execute continuous delivery of value to the business
7. Work with the global technical delivery manager to ensure quality deliverables in a timely manner
8. Implement solution design to third-party services and platforms
9. Implement ghd best practices and coding standards
10. Optimise e-commerce systems for performance, scalability, and security, ensuring a fast and secure online shopping experience
REQUIREMENTS
11. Industry experiences familiar with aspects & concepts such as customer journey, promotions, checkout
12. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
13. Knowledge of Java platform (collections, concurrency, etc)
14. Analysis skills, ability to challenge approaches and propose the most optimal solutions
15. Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies in particular
16. Knowledge of unit and integration testing (JUnit, TestNG, Mockito,
17. Hands-on experience with developer daily basis tools such as IDE’s, compilers, debuggers, profilers, version control systems, bug tracking systems, build systems (Gradle, Maven2, etc), code coverage and automated testing tools
18. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
