An experienced Domestic Property Adjuster is required to join a reputable and long-established Insurance Provider who are market-leading, fast-paced, and innovative with a real passion about Customer Care.
You will join their specialist Property Adjusting team who offer a dedicated service to help customers throughout the lifecycle of their claim.
You will carry out site visits throughout the North East region assessing Property Damage claims up to £100,000, covering all peril related losses.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out site visits to policyholders' properties to assess damage and produce a schedule of work utilising Symbility to settle claims.
2. Manage domestic property claims up to £100,000.
3. Proactively manage your own caseload of claims from start to finish.
4. Build relationships with Surveyors/internal stakeholders.
5. Identify potential recoveries/internal stakeholders.
6. Make decisions to mitigate losses and prevent secondary damage.
About You
1. Previous/current experience managing your own caseload of Domestic Property Claims in a technical environment.
2. Field Adjusting experience visiting policyholders' homes to assess/validate damage.
3. Scopes experience using Symbility or similar tools.
4. Knowledge of validating schedule of works.
5. Excellent IT/systems experience - Microsoft.
6. CII/CILA qualification preferred but not essential.
7. Full clean driving licence.
Salary & Benefits
1. Salary up to £45,000 per annum.
