Manufacturing Engineer - Detail Planner at Expleo Group. Expleo is a global engineering, technology and consulting service provider guiding business transformation to achieve operational excellence.
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Manufacturing Engineer - Detail Planner to join our proactive and innovative team.
Responsibilities
* In the role of Detail Planning Engineer, you will create engineering instructions from design definitions directly linked to the production process.
* Independently create instructions while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and quality of the engineering method and Bill of Materials.
* Produce appropriate department documentation including Routings, BoM’s, MI’s; installations, assemblies & detail manufacture.
* Implementation and control of change to the product.
* Able to perform non-complex project reporting and scheduling.
* Occasionally provide informal technical support to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
* Contribute to the development of department processes, actively shaping operational efficiency.
* Administration and general office skills including spreadsheets/Microsoft packages.
* Responsible for liaising with other technical departments.
Essential Skills
* An ability to apply problem solving techniques to routine situations or situations of moderate complexity under supervision.
* Work is within standardised procedures and practices; accuracy of tasks is impactful.
* An ability to gather information and data to support build.
* Be able to plan and prioritise tasks.
* Ability to find and adopt best practice.
* A good understanding of how team integrates with other teams to achieve objectives.
* Works effectively in a team with good communication in English (oral & written) & interpersonal skills.
* Recognition of the limits of their own knowledge so that specialist support can be sought.
* Sufficient experience to identify issues involved in their area of responsibility.
Experience
* Understanding of the manufacturing used within the business.
* Engineering drawing reading and interpretation including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
* Ability to access, understand and apply Quality and HS&E Management System documentation relevant to the work scope; obey all HS&E rules and control measures.
* Knowledge of business processes and procedures.
* Experience of working with SAP.
* Experience of working with PLM systems (Teamcenter).
* Experience of working with stakeholders typically inside the company.
