Warehouse Supervisor Neath (Days Role) We are looking for a dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to join our team from out site based in Neath.Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing a team of operatives to ensure the efficient and effective operation. Also to achieve operational KPIs to tight deadlines and drive improvements by engaging the team in promoting a positive culture. This role will require someone capable of working under pressure, displaying a good analytical approach to work to deliver business results and to achieve performance and service levels. Successful candidates will require some team supervisory / people management experience and working within a team environment. Role Responsibilities: Our site is a fast paced, so there will often be a need for you to act independently and to think on your feet. Your existing warehouse/ distribution/ logistics first line management expertise is valued and as our Warehouse Supervisor, you will need to search out solutions, drawing upon your previous experience to make sound operational decisions. To lead and motivate your team to achieve operational goals Manage team performance and provide guidance and support Effectively plan labour and resource to deliver operational requirements in a timely manner whilst meeting agreed KPI’s and Service Levels Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Co-ordinate and oversee daily warehouse activities Person Specification: If you’re passionate, love never knowing what the day will bring and feel exhilarated working under pressure and to tight deadlines then this could be the next step for you. An understanding/knowledge of Health & Safety (H&S). Strong communication skills. Experience managing teams of up to 20 staff. Knowledge of dispatch operations, including parcel dispatch. Experience working with a fleet consisting of vans and LGVs. The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to travel for courses. A valid driving license.
