About the apprenticeship
Duties
Training will be provided to carry out the following tasks and responsibilities, which may include, but are not limited to:
To use various computer applications to record and maintain records and provide management information and reports as and when required.
Develop PDR-Pro applications incorporating CMS (Course Management System), PDR-Pro and Learn Pro.
Maintaining and updating the PDR-Pro back-end office to reflect changes to the thematic planner and additional training.
To provide ICT support for PDR-Pro and other eLearning platforms.
To liaise with divisions and other departments in the administration of PDR-Pro and other development activities
Updating and replacing Standard Operating Procedure documents on the PDR-Pro platform.
Assisting with the management of Course Management System; building requalification’s, scheduling courses and inputting training returns.
Supporting the PDR-Pro officer with the recording and maintaining of personnel records.
Attending meetings to support the PDR-Pro officer. Liaising with external software providers to develop and improve current systems and any system updates.
Support Incident Command Courses using XVR simulation software.

Mathematics- Grade 4 (equivalent to grade C)
English- Grade 4 (equivalent to grade C)

Comfortable learning and using digital systems, with training and support available for specific platforms.
Able to write clear, professional emails and communicate effectively with colleagues across departments and external providers.
Able to collaborate with colleagues to deliver shared goals, while also managing tasks independently when needed.
Able to approach challenges constructively, demonstrating reliability and professionalism in day to day work.
Able to demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and take part in ongoing development opportunities.
Committed to building knowledge and improving performance through training, feedback and self development.

In addition, the Apprentice will be responsible for managing their own Apprenticeship, they should be able to plan and prioritise tasks to stay on schedule and take ownership of their development by engaging with training opportunities and monitoring progress against agreed goals.
