Due to continued growth and expansion, our client is seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their supportive and progressive firm. The role offers a 50/50 split between audit and accounts preparation, supporting Partners and Managers in the delivery of high-quality statutory audit and accounts services. With clients spanning the commercial and charity/not-for-profit sectors. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years solid experience in managing and delivering audit and accounts assignments, with the ability to take ownership of work from planning through to completion. Strong technical knowledge, organisational skills and confidence in liaising with clients will be key to success in this role. What Can the Client Offer: 22 days holiday Bank Holidays Clear career progression with continuous development training and access to courses such as CPD Access to Flexible benefits schemes Onsite parking Breakout room for quiet time Hybrid working Pattern This Audit & Accounts Senior role has the following responsibilities: Managing audit and accounts assignments for charities, not-for profit and limited companies Assisting managers and partners with ad-hoc projects and additional assignments Assisting Managers and Partners with ad-hoc projects Liaising with clients and delivering information in a clear and timely manner Supervising, delegating, and reviewing work completed by junior team members Preparing statutory accounts and draft corporation and business tax computations The ideal candidate for this role: Previous use of bookkeeping softwares such as Sage, Xero and QuickBooks Strong communication and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively to ensure that deadlines, budgets are consistently met Commercial awareness Proactive and confident working across a variety of deadlines ACA/ACCA qualified/part-qualified with at least 3 years of practice experience (qualification by experience will be considered) Like minded job titles: Senior Practice Accountant, Audit Supervisor, Accounts Senior, Audit Senior, Audit Supervisor Commutable from within 30 minutes: Swindon.
