Children and Young People’s Occupational Therapist – St Johns Hospital
NHS Lothian is recruiting for a Children and Young People’s Occupational Therapist at St Johns Hospital. The role involves providing a comprehensive service of assessment, diagnosis, treatment/appropriate management, onward referral and discharge to a diverse range of patients referred to the service.
Primary responsibilities include:
* Supervise and support Occupational Therapy assistants, clinical support workers, and students.
* Ensure compliance with UK work permit requirements and other statutory obligations.
The post is open to disabled candidates, candidates with long‑term conditions, and neurodivergent individuals, with reasonable adjustments made during recruitment.
Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check. If the post is assessed as a regulated role, appointment will be subject to the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
