Offer description

We are seeking a National Account Manager, who will be responsible for developing and growing existing key Wholesale and Foodservice customer partnerships while strategically identifying and cultivating new opportunities in these channels. They will exemplify our commercial values by fostering collaboration, driving results and ensuring our brand and customer partnerships thrive across the out of home (OOH) sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Deliver Joint Business Plans (JBPs) independently with key wholesale and foodservice customers, achieving annual Net Revenue and Gross Margin targets in line with company objectives.
* Full ownership of account management, including commercial terms, forecasting, promotional planning and supply chain coordination to deliver seamless execution tailored to wholesale and foodservice channels.
* Drive consistent commercial standards across all accounts, ensuring promotional investment is effective and in line with business guidelines.
* Champion the brand with wholesale and foodservice partners, ensuring execution is on brand, on-strategy and aligned with our values.
* Identify and secure new business opportunities through market insight, customer networking, and proactive engagement across out-of-home and foodservice sectors.
* Build and nurture strong relationships with external partners and internal cross functional teams, acting as a trusted advisor and collaborator.
* Continuously analyse the wholesale and foodservice market landscape to uncover growth opportunities, respond to competitor activity and provide actionable insights to the wider commercial team.
* Partner with Category, Marketing, and Supply Chain to drive customer range reviews, NPD launches and track overall brand performance.
* Lead with values, supporting and mentoring colleagues where appropriate, embodying a "one team" approach to drive shared success.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

* Proven account management experience (minimum 3 years) in a consumer goods or retail/ wholesale environment.
* Experience managing a varied account base; ready to take the step up to National Account Manager level if not already.
* Demonstrated ability to launch and grow branded NPD within retail / wholesale categories.
* Commercially astute with strong numerical and analytical skills, able to interpret data to shape strategy.
* Exceptional negotiation, influencing and communication skills, with evidence of strong customer partnerships.
* Collaborative and value driven approach, working seamlessly with internal teams and supporting the broader commercial agenda.
* Customer and people focused, with a passion for delivering results through relationships.
* Creative problem solver, able to think strategically and drive innovative solutions.
* Energetic, resilient and a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast paced environment.
* Passionate about food and the impact great brands can have on customers and consumers.
* IT literate and comfortable with data systems, reporting tools and Microsoft Office applications.
