We are looking for a Cleaning Account Manager to join our specialist Make Ready business. Churchill's Make Ready division provides vehicle preparation and station cleaning services within the Ambulance service, including infection prevention, technology, auditing, and training.
As a Cleaning Account Manager, you will manage a workforce of over 70 staff to ensure cleaning standards are maintained at a high level, supporting the delivery of the Make Ready Programme within an NHS Ambulance Trust. Your responsibilities include ensuring Churchill delivers a safe, customer-focused, cost-effective, efficient, and compliant service to meet contractual and legal obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain strong client relationships with high satisfaction levels and ensure quality service delivery.
* Manage, recruit, and coach local service teams.
* Perform ad-hoc and regular activities such as projects, reports, and audits to support the Operations Manager.
* Hold regular contract and specification review meetings with clients.
* Ensure adherence to Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, cost savings, and account growth.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Excellent communication and people management skills, with strong leadership and motivational capabilities.
* Ability to forward plan, work under pressure, and influence at a senior level.
* Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.
* Working knowledge of Health and Safety systems in the cleaning industry.
* Ability to work within tight timescales.
* Experience working with education clients is highly desirable.
