Hours & Remuneration
* Hours: 22 per week, permanent role, 7 am–4:30 pm Monday–Friday, 8 am–12 pm Saturday rota.
* Basic salary: £29,080.48 per year pro rata.
* Bonus / OTE: realistic total earning potential up to £32,680.48 per year pro rata.

What Our Trade Counter Assistants Do
* Hands‑on work, lead by example, working closely with the Branch Manager and Branch Supervisor on day‑to‑day operations.
* Responsible for trade counter sales and achieving sales targets; communicate product knowledge confidently to customers.
* Provide exceptional customer service and support to new and existing customers.
* Pick, load and deliver products to customers via Eurocell's 3.5‑tonne flatbed trucks and LWB vans.
* Plan routes, drive safely and keep the company vehicle clean.
* Support the Branch Manager with actions and activities on time, in full.
* Comply with Health & Safety, company policies and procedures.
* Ensure excellence in customer service, operational standards and branch sales targets are achieved.
* Support delivery of sales targets while developing and maintaining positive customer relationships.
* Assist with the delivery of branch operations.
* Provide support and assistance to branch colleagues as required.
* Maintain branch standards – warehouse and stock management, front‑of‑house cleanliness and point‑of‑sale.
What We Need From Our Trade Counter Assistants
* Passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets.
* A hands‑on, customer‑focused approach, confident and happy to serve customers and proactively engage future customers.
* Commercial approach to drive sales and maximise margins while ensuring customers leave happy.
* Good organisational skills, with ability to prioritise and use own initiative.
* Confident IT user with experience of MS Office and industry‑standard software such as SAP.
* A full and valid driving licence; an FLT licence would be a distinct advantage.
* Previous branch stock‑take experience would be a distinct advantage.
* Comfortable working in a small team and, on occasion, alone.
* Experience within a similar role, ideally in a trade / builders merchant / retail, glazing or uPVC environment, would be a distinct advantage.
