As the Shunter Driver HGV Nights (C + E) based in Melmerby, you’ll be responsible for:
* Movement (Shunting) of all trailers and vehicles on site
* Collection of trailers and vehicles from local service agents
* Liaising with the transport office, drivers, service agent & warehouse
* Driving a class 1 vehicle to our network of branches
* Multi-drop deliveries
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
* Class 1 Licence
* CPC card
* Digital Tachograph Card
* Strong communication skills & effective team player
* Reliable and conscientious
* Capable of working under pressure
This is a full-time, permanent position requiring 45 hours per week. The work schedule is from Thursday to Sunday hours are from 10.00pm onwards (subject to change based on work demands).
