Job Description Role – Accommodation Assistant (Homeless Services) Location – GCHSCP Homeless Services, 2 Green Wynd, Glasgow, G40 2TD Hours and Shift Pattern – 35hrs per week as per rota Contract Status – Permanent Are you interested in working for the largest local authority in Scotland, in partnership with the NHS, to help improve the health and wellbeing of our community? Then, you are in the right place! The Accommodation Assistant Team provides vital support to all Homeless Teams within Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership. This support ensures service within Green Wynd Family Accommodation is well managed, thus providing a robust and co-ordinated service. The teams focus in on providing a holistic support framework to all service users, while safeguarding everyone accommodated within Green Wynd. The successful candidate will join a staff team who work to ensure the safety, security and cleanliness of the Green Wynd Family Accommodation service. You will provide advice and assistance to the residents and staff who live and work in the Green Wynd Family Accommodation Service. You will also assist the service by delivering and picking up items relevant to the functioning of HSCP services based at Green Wynd. Always on hand to assist, you’ll have experience in working in a busy environment with a focus on customer service and health and safety. Rotas within the establishments cover seven days therefore candidates must be available as and when required to cover the full roster requirements. This position requires a Basic Disclosure.
