Responsibilities:
* Assist with a variety of admin tasks including email maintenance, populating spreadsheets, sending out engagement letters to be electronically signed, creating forms, and updating client questionnaires.
* Draft professional clearance letters to send to prospective clients’ existing payroll providers or accountants and follow up to ensure responses are received within the correct timescale.
* Draft engagement letters for new and existing clients/engagements using the firm’s standard template, reviewed by Senior Compliance Executives/Compliance Manager.
* Offer new ideas to improve the client onboarding process.
* Learn to complete anti-money laundering client due diligence in accordance with internal procedures and regulations, including understanding client structures, tracing beneficial ownership, analyzing electronic checks for PEPs or sanctions, and carrying out conflict checks.
What we are looking for:
This role suits someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a customer service flair. You should be able to write clear, concise emails to clients and stakeholders. GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English at grade C / 4 or above is required, along with proficiency in MS Office and Windows applications.
Experience in areas such as client account management, AML, KYC, legal, office management, banking, customer/client service, or onboarding is desirable but not necessary, as full training is provided. The following competencies are essential:
