Responsibilities
- Build Scalable Data Solutions: Design, develop and maintain robust data pipelines and ingestion processes, integrating multiple source systems into the data platform.
- Design Insightful Data Models: Create and optimise relational models, star schemas, semantic models, and governed datasets to power business intelligence and reporting.
- Deliver Business-Critical Insights: Produce and automate key metrics and KPIs through scalable, reusable data models that drive decision‑making across the business.
- Shape the Data Platform Roadmap: Support the evolution of the data platform, ensuring future‑proofing, capacity planning and performance optimisation.
- Collaborate to Solve Data Challenges: Partner with stakeholders to troubleshoot data issues, trace data lineage and implement data quality improvements.
- Own Data Governance & Access: Manage secure access to data products while maintaining robust documentation, including KPIs, data lineage and reporting definitions.
- Ensure Platform Performance: Monitor usage, optimise datasets and work cross‑functionally to maintain a high‑performing, efficient data ecosystem.
Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in Business Intelligence and modern data platforms from prior roles.
- Extensive experience with SQL, relational databases and data warehousing technologies.
- Experience with Azure Data Technologies, including Microsoft Fabric.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud technologies and tooling across Azure, Salesforce and Google environments.
- Strong ability to write, optimise and debug complex queries.
- Experience with Python and an understanding of machine learning is a plus.
Benefits & Compensation
Location: Witney, Oxfordshire or Shepherd’s Bush, London office.
Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 plus discretionary bonus.
