Rate: £640-£685 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Data Management Practitioner to support a high-profile AI & Data programme within a large-scale healthcare/public sector environment. This role will focus on the operational and technical management of Microsoft licensing services across the enterprise tenant, ensuring seamless provisioning, governance, and service continuity.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Microsoft 365 specialist with strong operational licensing expertise to work within a complex, mission-critical environment supporting modern digital healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
Assign, manage, and reconcile Microsoft licences across the tenant environment
Support user and organisation onboarding through accurate licence provisioning
Monitor licence consumption and coordinate operational top-ups to maintain uninterrupted service delivery
Work closely with identity, provisioning, and platform teams to coordinate licensing activities
Act as the technical escalation point with Microsoft for licence-related operational issues
Maintain strong service assurance and governance standards across licensing operations
Ensure licensing administration aligns with operational procedures and platform dependencies
Skills & Experience Required
Strong experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID tenants
Proven background in operational licence management and control
Good understanding of the Microsoft 365 licensing ecosystem, including:
Tenant structures
Licence types and dependencies
Service enablement across Microsoft platforms
Experience supporting onboarding and provisioning processes within enterprise environments
Strong attention to detail with a proactive, service-focused mindset
Ability to work across multiple technical teams within a complex organisation
