Here at Independent Forgings and Alloys (IFA), we are currently seeking a Production Engineer (Testing) to join our team. Reporting to the Test House Manager, you will be responsible for material control throughout the testing process, coordinating the flow of all IFA testing work and working to a variety of testing specifications. You will produce testing instructions and purchase orders and review all Test Reports against these, highlighting non-conforming test results.
What are we looking for?
Proactive and practical, with excellent attention to detail and communication skills, you must be a team player with a good understanding of Mechanical/Metallurgical testing. Working knowledge of Microsoft systems is essential and an understanding of the requirements of ISO/IEC17025 would be beneficial, in addition to experience in creation and/or review of certificates of conformity.
