Class 1 Driver BarnsleyWe are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Barnsley for experienced Class 1 Driver positions, with shifts available on either days or afternoons.This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable Class 1 Driver looking for ongoing Monday to Friday work, with the potential to secure a permanent role.As a Class 1 Driver, you will be working with boxed trailers fitted with a tail lift and delivering to retail stores. This is a manual handling role, where you will be required to use a manual pump truck to move pallets from the trailer into stores via the tail lift. Around 99% of deliveries are light plastic goods.Shift patterns:Monday to FridayDays starting from 6:00amAfternoons starting from 2:00pmTo be considered for this Class 1 Driver role, you must:Have held your Class 1 licence for a minimum of 2 yearsHave no more than 6 penalty pointsHave no active DD, DG or IN endorsement codes (due to client insurance requirements)Hold a valid and in-date CPC cardHold a valid and in-date digital tachograph cardThis Class 1 Driver role is initially temporary, however there is a genuine opportunity for permanent employment, as the client is actively recruiting for full-time drivers.Pay rates:Days£16.00 per hour£17.97 per hour including holiday payAfternoons£17.50 per hour£19.61 per hour including holiday payIf you are an experienced Class 1 Driver and are interested in this opportunity, please apply online or contact our office on 0161 802 2992 for more information.TPBN1_UKTJ
