Role Summary
Were currently seeking Electrical Improvers to join our client, a world:leading automotive OEM, across their sites in the Midlands : Solihull and Castle Brom. This role will be responsible for the Electrical installations and modifications on site/facility projects.
Role and Responsibilities of the Electrical Improver
* Electrical installation to drawing
* Reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics
* Installation and modifications of cable trays, trunking and conduits
* Installation and modification of power and data cables
* Wiring of power and control cabinets and associated equipment
Requirements Of the Electrical Improver role
* Jib/ECS/CSCS Cards
* Level 2 and working towards Level 3
* IPAF 3a/3B
* Previous experience of working on industrial electrical installation projects with a production or automotive environment
* Equipped with own comprehensive tool kit for suitable tools for the role
* Ability to work on various jobs on own initiative
* Ability to follow set tasks set by Supervisor/Project Manager
* Experience and wiliness to be paired with an apprentice/electrical mate
* Able to install every type of standard containment used in the industry
* Able to 1st and 2nd an electrical install ready for an electrician to test and power up
* Knowledge of site safety
