Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust for an Occupational Therapist as part of our Intensive Intervention Risk Management (IIRMS) Service, part of the community OPD Pathway within Probation across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. The role supports high‑risk individuals to navigate the transition from prison to community life.
Responsibilities
* Support the ongoing delivery of the IIRMS service, including the referral process, in‑reach assessment and engagement sessions.
* Assist with day‑to‑day living support and co‑facilitate the delivery of a ‘hub’ day for a small cohort of identified service users.
* Work closely with Probation Practitioners, prison services, other healthcare providers and criminal justice partners to improve health, support justice and reduce re‑offending behaviour.
Qualifications and Experience
Enthusiastic, motivated, patient‑focused, and experienced or knowledgeable about an OPD service or OPD pathway is desirable.
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use required.
* Applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs (standard £26.40 or enhanced £54.40) will be deducted from salary over the first two months of employment.
* Applicants are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service, with an annual fee of £16.
