Company Description\n\nDo you want to join a rapidly expanding, forward thinking and agile organisation that provides an opportunity to grow together?\n\nIf you have ambitions to play a key part in driving our business forwards, then we want you to join us at an exciting time of development and growth to realise your full potential.\n\nWorking with a large portfolio of public and private sector clients, our UK based organisation comprises of several divisions including Mechanical & Electrical, Construction, Projects, Reactive, FM, Small Works and other associated trades.\n\nHere at BJF, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our exciting and expanding construction biased business, where you can help support the Project Services division as a Multiskilled Operative.\n\nPosition\n\nDay to day responsibilities to include:\n\nRespond to reactive calls, carry out first fix where possible and scoping quotes for repair where first fix is not possible, ensuring minimum downtime.\nCarry out all planned building / fabric maintenance tasks as per program and keep accurate auditable records of works planned and completed.\nTo undertake small to large fabric repairs and upgrades to existing buildings both internally and externally.\nCovering, where possible, all aspects ranging from (but not limited to) masonry, carpentry, ironmongery, roof repairs, kitchen fitting\nTo scope both the task and material requirements to achieve the required results.\nTo ensure that the site is kept in good decorative order internally and externally - and to given specification and ensure timely completion.\nWorking within all Health and Safety criteria and processes relevant to work activities.\nShow a proactive approach to Health & safety in the work environment and take the necessary steps to ensure risks are mitigated.\nClient facing, therefore maintaining high standards of customer care\nBe flexible and undertake other reasonable duties to accommodate operational requirements.\n\nRequirements\n\nExperience of planned preventative maintenance and reactive works / tasks completed within KPI’s\nExperience in domestic, commercial, or industrial fabric engineering\nA proactive, positive, solution-based attitude\nRepairs following a Periodic Electrical Installation Condition Report.
