Who will you be working with?
Napier Turbocharger, a Wabtec Company, has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Administrator to join a well-established business that designs, manufactures, and tests industrial turbochargers supplied into the Power Generation, Marine, and Rail Traction industries.
Role: Logistics Administrator
Salary: £Competitive
Location: LN5 7FD, Lincoln
Contract Type: 12-month Fixed Term Contract, Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30am to 15:45pm and 07:30am to 15:15pm on Friday
How will you make a difference?
The position will involve undertaking a variety of administration activities within the Supply Chain Management function. Working as part of a successful team, the role requires you to liaise with internal departments and freight forwarders on a daily basis to ensure business objectives are achieved.
What will your typical day look like?
* Undertake a variety of administration activities within the Supply Chain Management function.
* Liaise with stores, goods in goods out, logistics administration,
* Coordination of goods and products coming in and responsible for the distribution of goods internally and then externally.
* Turbocharger and Spares Planning.
* Dealing with freight forwarders
* Preparing shipments for export worldwide
* Sales Order dispatching.
* Generation of material demands.
What do we want to know about you?
* Experience in similar administration roles will be beneficial.
* Experience with an ERP system and importing/exporting would be advantageous.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
