Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 5 Pre Surgical Preparation Practitioners at the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital in Margate.
In this role, you will be part of an innovative and dynamic team providing exemplary, high-standard pre-operative care. You will work within the Pre-assessment Clinic and the Surgical Admissions Lounge. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, with an innovative approach to developing preoperative care. Main duties of the job
* Carry out pre-assessments for patients undergoing planned surgery across multiple specialties, including orthopaedics, general surgery, women's health, and head and neck surgery.
* Admit patients on the day of surgery to the admissions ward.
