Overview
Test Engineer Job location: Remote within the UK (option to work from HQ in Waterbeach, Cambridge, UK under Hybrid Working Policy). Employment Type: Full time, Permanent.
Responsibilities
* Participating proactively in Requirement Analysis and Sprint Ceremonies internally and externally.
* Configuring Test environments.
* Reviewing Test results.
* Delivering manual testing, and contributing to the development of automated tests.
* Reporting for stories as part of a Continuous Integration Environment.
* Ensuring satisfactory sign-off of releases, often for external use.
Requirements
* Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proven knowledge of the fundamental concepts of software testing.
* Proven troubleshooting and debugging skills.
* Enthusiasm for both Manual and automated Testing.
* Experience using:
o Object-oriented languages
o C#
o Java
o Python
* Virtual Machines
* Automated testing tools and frameworks like NUnit, Junit, Selenium and RestAssured
* Database technologies and scripting to create and validate data
Desired Skills and Experience
* Experience in GIS tools and systems such as QGIS, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online.
* Experience in data centric testing and ETL processes.
* Knowledge of CI/CD configuration.
