Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. This role requires effective leadership skills, as you will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
* Supervise and manage bar staff & front of house staff, ensuring efficient service and adherence to company policies.
* Oversee drink preparation and table service processes to guarantee quality and standards are met.
* Implement and maintain food safety protocols in accordance with health regulations maintaining our 5 star rating.
* Manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimising waste.
* Train and mentor staff in serving techniques, hospitality best practices, and customer service excellence.
* Collaborate with head chef & kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between the front of house and kitchen operations.
* Develop creative menus and specials that align with seasonal offerings and customer preferences.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction at all times.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Attend regular meetings with the area manager to look at wellbeing, growth and standards.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a management role within a bar or restaurant environment.
* Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food production techniques.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is essential.
* Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous.
* Bar tending experience is a plus, particularly in crafting specialty beverages.
* Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
