Are you a hands-on engineer with a passion for sustainability and problem-solving? We're looking for a Field-Based Service Engineer to help deliver carbon-neutral solutions across Scotland. You'll join a supportive team working on cutting-edge biomass steam boiler systems, helping to maintain, repair, ad optimise performance on-site. What You'll Be Doing:
* Travel to client sites across Scotland (some overnight stays required)
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on biomass steam boilers
* Perform fault-finding, servicing, and equipment repairs
* Maintain accurate records using a computerised maintenance system
* Ensure high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
* Support customer relationships with clear, confident communication
What You'll Need:
* HND or time-served apprenticeship in mechanical/electrical engineering
* At least 2 years' industrial engineering experience (electrical bias preferred)
* Field service or multi-site maintenance experience
* Full UK driving licence
* A flexible, hands-on approach and strong problem-solving skills
* Bonus points for experience with steam boilers, biomass systems, or PLCs.
