Are you an experienced account handler with a background in manufacturing? Were looking for a Customer Account Manager to join a busy commercial team supporting a growing portfolio of clients.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where youll take ownership of key accounts, ensuring smooth communication, accurate scheduling, and strong commercial performance. Youll be the voice of the customer internally, working closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to deliver outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day communication with allocated customers
Coordinate order planning from placement to shipment
Handle purchase orders and liaise with internal teams for materials and production updates
Organise and present Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
Monitor customer KPIs, slow-moving stock, and excess materials
Support commercial negotiations and new project onboarding
Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and improve processes
What Were Looking For
Experience managing customer accounts in a manufacturing environment
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Commercial awareness and confidence in negotiating with stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure
Familiarity with MRP systems and data accuracy
Willingness to travel occasionally (UK and abroad)
Full UK driving licence
