NeuroHealth Case Management Services is a successful and established company that provides case management for adults and children who have sustained life-changing injuries including brain injury, spinal cord injury and amputation, within London, Home Counties and The South of England. NeuroHealth helps implement, coordinate and manage medical, therapy and care services to aid rehabilitation, recovery, long term care and quality of life of its clients.
This opportunity is for a highly organized, efficient and caring individual to play an important role in supporting our team of remotely based Case Managers. We are a growing, motivated and enthusiastic company that wants to make a difference in our industry. We require an individual who can work efficiently under time pressure without compromising on quality, using the Microsoft Office suite and other company resources to provide assistance.
Hours: Full time - Mon to Fri 9.00am to 5.30pm with the flexibility to meet the needs of clients and the business as required.
Location: Your main location will be the NeuroHealth office in Clapham, London, with travel within the UK as and when required.
Salary: £26,000 per annum basic (performance bonus of £1,200 - £3,000+)
Responsibilities
* Achieve a minimum of 5.5 hours of billable casework each day.
* Complete detailed and accurate case notes using the case management system.
* Clear and concise verbal and written correspondence to multiple stakeholders.
* Support case managers in the day to day management of cases.
* Attend meetings/appointments with clients where required.
* Monitor and managing client cases in the case manager's absence.
* Assist in sourcing services, treatment, accommodation and equipment for clients and managing referrals.
* Assist in the setup and management of care/support packages including the recruitment process, training and auditing of care records.
* Assist in the preparation of reports, referral letters etc.
* Maintain accurate case notes, billing records and client files.
* Support with and manage any queries from clients, solicitors, insurers or medical professionals.
* Service development and improvement.
Qualifications, key skills and requirements
* Educated to University degree level or higher – Essential
* 3+ years of clerical, secretarial, or office administration experience – Essential
* Experience of working in a client facing role - Essential
* Excellent written and verbal communication – Essential
* Evidence of working under time pressure and to competing deadlines – Essential
* Attention to detail and accuracy – Essential
* Evidence of ability to problem solve and use initiative – Essential
* Experienced in Microsoft Office suite of software – Essential
* Understanding of brain & spinal injury and associated needs – Preferable
* Experience in case management, therapy setting or health setting – Preferable
