Field Supervisor ScottishPower, Whitelee Windfarm, Fenwick (near Kilmarnock). KA3 6EX Salary from £ 38,968 with up to 10% Annual Bonus and Single Healthcare Permanent Closing Date: 12 th September 2025 Purpose Working as part of a small, dynamic team to ensure safe, efficient and compliant day-to-day operational management of ScottishPower Renewables' (SPR) portfolio, you will act as the responsible Field Supervisor for a designated number of sites within the SPR portfolio and pro- actively manage, co-ordinate and close-out local issues directly and via sub-contractors where present. Responsibilities Ensur ing site activities and safety risks across allocated site s are effectively performed and executed in accordance with applicable SPR and OSHAS 45001 Safety Management Syste ms, you will ensure site activities and Environmental risks across allocated sites are in accordance with SPRs ISO14001 Environmental Management System. Carry ing out thorough WTG/Battery storage facility and Infrastructure safety/technical inspections and audits for allocated sites, producing associated records/checklist/reports detailing issues and programmes to close-out, you will c o-ordinate response and close-out of issues identified during routine WTG/Battery storage facility and Infrastructure inspections. Supervis ing sub-contractors to ensure all site activities are planned and scheduled in accordance with SPRs Central Maintenance Planning System, you will also ensure site activities are performed in a safe, compliant and efficient manner and to the required technical standard. Confirming general statutory/regulatory compliance across allocated sites (H&S, Environmental and Planning related), you wil l also p rovide input to site performance reporting tools/systems and offer d irect input into achieving applicable SPR O&M key performance indicators for allocated sites. Assum ing responsibility for pre-commencement assessment of all work tasks being undertaken on allocated sites in accordance with the SPR Work Control Management Instruction, you will c arry out Wind Turbine Inspections and local fault re-setting in accordance with the Wind Turbine Safety Rules and a s required, provide input to the Area Supervisor/Area Manager to support the development and maintenance of the OPEX budgets for allocated sites on an annual basis, support ing updates to forecasts in accordance with business reporting calendars. Assist ing with the identification of new and development of existing, site-specific and group-wide operating procedures and policies as defined by the Area Supervisor/Area Manager, i n conjunction with the Area Supervisor, you will liaise with internal/external stakeholders including landowners and emergency services, p rovide 24hr call-out/response for allocated sites in the event of site emergencies, c arry out limited HV apparatus operations in accordance with SPR Electrical Safety Rules and w ork with Area Supervisor to maintain consistent resourcing of area and support of allocated sites during periods of increased workload, personnel training, holidays and sickness. What y ou’ll b ring With s ound knowledge of Electro-mechanical generating plant and apparatus, you will be e ducated to HNC or appropriate City & Guilds level (Electrical or M echanical discipline) or possess equivalent transferable practical experience. Displaying knowledge and practical experience of working under the Company Safety Rules or an equivalent 'rule based' system, you will possess g ood organisational and interpersonal skill and hold the a bility to adapt quickly to a rapidly changing working environment s, demonstrat ing a positive approach to change. With a h igh degree of self-motivation and a flexible approach to work, you will be able to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Previous Battery storage operational/maintenance experience and Windfarm Technician/Supervisory experience is beneficial. You will be c omputer liter ate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications as a minimum, as well as being familiar with SCADA systems. To be successful in this role you will need a f ull UK driving license, be able to work a t heights and within enclosed spaces and be willing to travel to sites across the entire SPR portfolio in all weather conditions on a periodic basis.
