Electronics and Computer Science Stores Assistant Technician

You will assist in the day-to-day running of the School's Stores, providing effective and efficient service for physical goods received in the School. Responsibilities include managing internal purchase orders, receipt and processing of inbound goods, preparing delivered items for redistribution within the school, and taking responsibility for all Stores functions in the absence of the Stores Manager.
You should have practical knowledge and experience working in a stores environment or relevant technical/administrative role to support staff and students with enquiries related to deliveries. Practical knowledge may be gained through work experience or formal qualifications such as Level 2 or 3 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework (e.g., GCSEs, A Levels, apprenticeships, or equivalent).
You will need excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to work as part of a team and independently, and strong technical administrative skills. Enthusiasm, proactivity, and self-motivation are essential qualities.
