About you:
As a Billing Specialist for the Access Group's Ireland operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes. You will be responsible for managing the customer ledger, invoicing clients, and resolving billing-related inquiries. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Day-to-day, you will:
1. Prepare and send accurate invoices, verify billing data, resolve discrepancies, monitor cycles, and use Excel for bulk billing.
2. Maintain and reconcile customer accounts, update records, and manage overdue payments proactively.
3. Address billing inquiries, collaborate with customer service to resolve disputes, and maintain professionalism.
4. Generate and analyse billing reports, reconcile receipts, enhance processes for efficiency, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
1. Proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, and understanding of accounting principles and billing procedures.
2. Familiarity with financial software, billing systems, and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
3. Attention to detail, accuracy, excellent communication, and customer service skills.
4. Ability to work independently or collaboratively, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
