UK Health Kits Ltd is a CQC-registered provider of domiciliary and supported living services. We are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care in the community. We are now seeking a dedicated Care Coordinator to join our growing team.
The Role
As a Care Coordinator, you will play a central role in ensuring the smooth delivery of care services. You will split your working week between:
* Office-based duties (weekdays) – planning rotas, coordinating staff, liaising with families, local authorities and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with company policies and CQC standards.
* Field-based support (minimum 20 hours per week) – covering shifts, supporting staff, visiting service users to ensure high-quality standards of care.
Additional field hours beyond the contracted 20 hours will be paid at £14 per hour.
This role reports directly to the Registered Manager and will work closely with the Compliance Manager, who will review rotas to ensure fairness and even workload distribution.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, manage, and update care staff rotas.
* Cover care calls in the field where required (minimum 20 hours weekly).
* Support care workers with guidance, supervision, and mentoring.
* Maintain accurate records in line with CQC requirements.
* Communicate effectively with service users, their families, and external professionals.
* Ensure all care delivery complies with company policies and regulatory standards.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of care quality and service delivery.
Requirements
* Previous experience in domiciliary care or a similar care coordination role.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to balance office-based coordination with frontline care delivery.
* A valid right to work in the UK (this role does not include sponsorship).
* Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as required.
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
