RSK Raw part of the RSK Group have an exciting opportunity for a Project Team Leader to join our team near Cambridge, UK.
RSK Raw offers multi-disciplinary environmental protection and risk reduction services to a wide range of industries and clients across the UK, and specialises in the delivery of spill response, contamination investigation, and remediation projects.
The role:

We are looking for a motivated individual to lead our local team, to collaborate with other team leaders across the UK, and to deliver a wide range of projects including incident response, site investigation, and remediation for our varied client base.
Key responsibilities:
* Project direction and supervision of staff, including technical and cost management
* Timely delivery of projects, meeting budgets, delivery deadlines, and agreed client service levels
* Project contract management and financial management, cost control and invoicing
* Fieldwork planning, management and delivery in accordance with our SHEQ system and operating procedures
* Organising, managing, and supervising site works
* Preparing and reviewing cost proposals / tenders, factual and interpretative reports and Health and Safety documentation, including method statements, risk assessments and site records
* Responding to RSK Raw’s 24hr spill response helpline (on a weekly rota basis)
* Managing a team, including providing technical, commercial and project management advice, mentoring and oversight
Additional information:
* We operate a 24/7 response service for our clients - you may be required to work out of normal operating hours, for which you will be compensated
* Although the role is focussed in the East of England, you will support projects across the region and there will be a need for some travel to cover the needs of the business throughout England, Scotland, and Wales. There may be the occasional need to stay away from home.
* Training and development opportunities will be available including support to achieve Chartership (for example)
* There are opportunities available for collaborative working with other emergency response and remediation businesses within the RSK Group
Key skills and experience:
* At least 5 years’ relevant industry experience across different projects, sites and environments
* Project management experience including commercial / financial awareness relating to projects and overheads
* Excellent health and safety awareness
* Degree level qualification in a science / environment / land related subject
* A flexible attitude to work, with enthusiasm and drive to deliver the role
* The ability to work as an effective member of a team and on your own initiative
* Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
* Full UK / EC driving licence (essential)
