Functional Skills Tutor – S45, Chesterfield
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Functional Skills Tutor to support learners in the Chesterfield S45 area. This is a rewarding opportunity to help students develop confidence and improve their English and Maths skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and adapt Functional Skills sessions in English and Maths
* Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support
* Adapt lesson content and teaching methods to meet individual learner needs
* Monitor student progress and encourage engagement
* Create a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
* Experience tutoring or teaching Functional Skills, English, or Maths
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to support learners with different abilities and learning needs
* Patient, flexible, and supportive approach
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply

* Location: Chesterfield, S45
* Working Days: Monday to Friday
* Hours: Part-time / Flexible
