Teachmatch are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Specialist Teaching Assistant to support teachers in creating a nurturing and effective learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in SEND settings, particularly those with ASD. This role is pivotal in guiding and mentoring students, ensuring they receive the support necessary for their academic and personal development.
Role: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Abergavenny Salary: £90 per day Responsibilities: * Assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored, engaging lessons to meet the needs of individual students. * Provide one-on-one support and tutoring for students who require additional help. * Promote a positive learning environment by encouraging student participation and engagement.
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to share progress updates and address any concerns. * Implement individualized strategies to support the learning and development of students with special educational needs. * Help maintain a safe, organised, and conducive classroom environment.
