Job Title: Programme Leader - Bus and Coach Engineering
Status: Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week

Overview

Our Academy of Engineering covers Agricultural, Motor Vehicle and Large Transport Vehicle Engineering which includes Bus and Coach, Construction Plant, and Rail, with multiple training facilities across our campus to ensure our learners are industry focused and career ready.

The College has significantly invested in the Engineering facility, with a £7 million Advanced Engineering and Agri-Tech Centre boasting some fantastic, state-of-the-art facilities and equipment for teaching purposes. A new facility, at our Reaseheath Engineering Apprenticeship Academy, was purpose built to accommodate the growth in demand within Large Transport Vehicle engineering. We also have an impressive five bay and hi spec equipment facility for our Motor Vehicle cohort.


About the role

Due to continued growth, we're seeking a motivated and innovative Programme Leader - Bus and Coach to lead and shape the delivery of our apprenticeship programmes. You'll take ownership of programme delivery, curriculum development, and quality assurance, while supporting and mentoring academic staff to deliver outstanding teaching and learning.

Key responsibilities:

* Leading the delivery and development of Bus and Coach apprenticeship programmes, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
* Designing and implementing innovative curriculum content that meets industry and awarding body standards.
* Supporting and mentoring academic staff to enhance teaching practice and learner outcomes.
* Driving improvements in key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensuring compliance with quality assurance processes.
* Engaging with industry partners to promote the programme and enhance learner employability.

The successful candidate will:

* A minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant area (preferably Bus and Coach)
* Recognised teaching qualification
* Industry experience and knowledge of apprenticeship standards
* Strong digital skills and experience with platforms such as ProMonitor, OneFile, or ProSolution
* A passion for inspiring learners and developing innovative teaching practices

Reaseheath offers a full CPD programme with access to funded qualifications alongside hands on support whilst completing Further Education Training. Industry professionals joining the College in an academic role, will complete their Further Education Training whilst in post.
