my client is a reputable law firm specialising in residential and commercial property transactions. they pride themselves on delivering exceptional client service and fostering a collaborative work environment. As their conveyancing department continues to grow, they are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Paralegal to join our team. The individual will require to take on their own case load working through files from end to end in each transaction.Essential Skills & Experience:* Minimum of 2 years experience in residential and/or commercial conveyancing.* Strong understanding of the conveyancing process and relevant legislation.* Excellent communication and organisational skills.* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.* Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.Key Responsibilities:* Assist in managing a caseload of residential and commercial property transactions from inception to completion.* Draft and prepare legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements.* Conduct property searches, including Land Registry and local authority searches, and summarise findings.* Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties to facilitate smooth transactions.* Handle pre-exchange and post-completion tasks, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files using case management software.* Provide administrative support to senior fee earners as required.
