Overview
Our client is an established International Freight Forwarder and Logistics provider who looks to support a range of clients across the UK. They are a growing presence in the UK and looking to add an Import Executive to their Egham team. They are seeking someone experienced in Imports, ideally with experience in Ocean and/or Air Freight.
Responsibilities
* Provide operational support to customers during the shipping process, including assisting with quotations and initial bookings.
* Prepare and manage customer documentation; monitor shipment progress and manage customers throughout the process.
* Liaise with stakeholders across the business to ensure customer service excellence.
* Deal with all relevant documentation with some knowledge of Customs; use CargoWise would be beneficial.
Qualifications & Skills
* At least 2 years experience working with Imports; knowledge of multi-modal operations.
* Experience in Customs and ability to address customer queries regarding all aspects of the process.
* Strong communication, organisational skills and ability to deliver against KPIs.
Offer & Working Arrangements
Salary £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience. Working hours Monday - Friday; 9am – 5:30pm with some flexibility required due to the nature of the role. Modern facility with car parking. The branch is growing and offers a long-term opportunity.
This is a permanent position to start with the company directly.
