About the Role:
As a Geography Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum, helping students develop knowledge, critical thinking, and geographical skills. You will create a positive and structured learning environment and support students to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Geography lessons for a range of abilities.
* Support students’ learning, engagement, and progress.
* Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
* Monitor, assess, and report on student performance.
* Adapt lessons to meet the needs of individual students.
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop resources.
* Maintain accurate records of lessons, interventions, and student progress.
Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
* Experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 3/4 preferred.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* Ability to motivate and engage students in learning.
* Creative and adaptable approach to lesson planning and delivery.
