The post holder is responsible for the coordination, development and delivery of internal and external training programmes across multiple service areas. The role includes responsibility for supporting training staff, managing training cohorts, and overseeing elements of the commercial training offer. The post holder does not hold direct line management responsibility but provides functional supervision, guidance and quality assurance to trainers, facilitators and subject matter contributors. Advert The post holder will support the Projects and Workforce Development Manager in the planning, coordination and delivery of the organisation’s internal training programme, and develop and deliver the commercial training offer to external stakeholders and markets. You will coordinate and develop training and workforce development responses to identified gaps across multiple service types. Key areas of focus include the development and delivery of drug, alcohol and mental health training, trauma informed practice, co-occurring conditions, and CPD accredited programmes. Supports the development and delivery of CPD accredited training programmes, maintaining fidelity to accreditation requirements, course structure and assessment standards. Coordinates the internal training programme, including scheduling, communication, resource planning and evaluation processes. Identifies workforce development needs across services, analysing gaps and proposing training solutions, business cases and development plans in line with budgetary requirements. Develops and maintains the organisation’s commercial training offer, including course design, client engagement, delivery and evaluation. Prepares high quality training materials, digital resources and learning content suitable for diverse audiences and learning styles. Provides expert advice to managers and teams on training solutions, workforce capability and development pathways. Maintains professional competence and subject matter expertise through ongoing CPD, reflective practice and engagement with national guidance.
