Job Title: Dual-Trained Asbestos Analyst/Surveyor at Nexgen Group
Join us to apply for the Dual-Trained Asbestos Analyst/Surveyor role at Nexgen Group.
Location: Covering the Yorkshire area, with the nearest office likely in Sheffield/Rotherham.
Salary: £26,000 - £35,000, depending on skills and experience.
Role Responsibilities
* Conduct asbestos surveys and inspections, including management, refurbishment, demolition surveys, and asbestos in the ground.
* Perform air monitoring and airborne fibre counting.
* Inspect contractor remediation work, sign off removal works, or reject unsatisfactory removals as part of the 4SC process.
* Accurately collect site data via a phablet device to generate reports using NexGen software.
* Ensure compliance with all asbestos-related legislation and guidance (e.g., HSE, construction).
* Work within a UKAS-accredited organization, familiar with Lab 30 and RG8 documents.
* Maintain personal QHSE documentation and adhere to internal assurance processes.
* Provide professional client service, including answering queries and offering specialist advice.
* Communicate effectively with clients, management, technical support, and team members.
Candidate Requirements
* BOHS P402, P403, P404, or equivalent RSPH qualifications or Certificate of Competence.
* Knowledge of HSG:248 and HSG:264 guides.
* Full UK manual driving license.
* Flexibility for travel and out-of-hours work.
* Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in small teams.
* Supportive attitude towards colleagues and team activities.
